Through her art she explores the relationship of this world’s light and dark to the glory, harmony, beauty and grace of the spiritual world. Her images evoke spiritual awareness through focus on form, color and scale. kayla exhibits at City Art, at medical settings like UCSF, at unique venues like Urban Island Furnishings, Pierson’s 20th Century Design, and at new galleries like Misho Gallery and Axis San Jose. Seeking greater expression, kayla is studying copperplate printmaking at Kala Institute, and Crown Point Press and is a member of Graphics Arts Workshop.
