Urban Air Market – Dogpatch, Pier 70
On Sunday August 18th we hope to see you down at Pier 70 in the Dogpatch, San Francisco. You’ll be stepping through what is normally a locked gate at 22nd and Illinois Street toward a massive raw building on the waterfront. For the first time ever and for one day only, this will be a community gathering place for art, fashion, food, drinks, and music. More details below!

Urban Air Market, the largest outdoor independent design show in the country, will take place (for the first time ever!) in one of the San Francisco’s historic buildings at Pier 70 on the waterfront. This curated marketplace for sustainable designs will include over 150 independent designers and artists. The community-driven waterfront experience will have select designers based on their quality, originality, cleverness, and method of sustainability in design.
PLUS information on the future development of Pier 70, food trucks, live music, a beer and wine garden, kid’s play area, artist galleries and interactive workshops.
What to eat and drink:
Our friends at Off the Grid are bringing over food trucks Mr. Nice, Fuki, Sanguchon, Hiyaaa and coffee from How Ya Bean. Also visit our beer and wine garden brought to you by Mobile Libations.
Photobooth:
Did you know that Magnolia Photobooth recently moved their headquarters to the Dogpatch? Come get photo-snapped in the Magbooth and instantly reminisce about that one time at Pier 70.
Attention Kids:
Do you like making stuff? The teachers from SCRAP will be leading art projects and the hula hoop queen from Whoops! will be making sure you get your exercise.
Interactive art:
Have you ever wanted to know how to make a lamp out of a milk jug? How about the art of kimono making, embroidery, or boat building? These are just a few of the demonstrations offered by Workshop Residence.
Noonan Art Gallery:
The Noonan Building on Pier 70 in the heart of San Francisco’s industrial waterfront area has been an artist community for over 30 years. Get acquainted with this group of painters, printmakers, and mixed media artists in their one-day gallery at Urban Air Market.
